摘要
共形几何代数是近年来兴起的一门基于克利福德(Clifford)代数的数学分支。它在机器人学、计算机图形学、计算机视觉等领域获得了广泛的应用,且其应用领域还在不断扩展中。作为一门新兴领域,将其中一些专业术语译为中文有一定难度。这给共形几何代数的理解与应用带来一些困难。文章拟就这些新术语的特点、译文要求以及翻译处理方法等方面的问题进行一些探讨,并据此对共形几何代数中专业术语的中文译文进行研究。这些专业术语的中文译文对深入理解、广泛推广和应用共形几何代数起到了较好的作用。
Conformal geometric algebra （CGA） is a new branch of mathematics based on Clifford algebra. It has been wildly used in the fields of robotics, computer graphics and computer vision and the applied fields are spreading. But there are some new terms which are difficult to translate them into Chinese. The features of these terms, the requirements of the transla- tions and the translating methods are discussed. A study on how to translate the new terms in CGA into Chinese is imple- mented, and the corresponding Chinese ones are proposed. It has well effects on understanding deeply and applied widely of CGA to do this job.
