摘要
美国女作家薇拉·凯瑟在小说《啊,拓荒者!》中塑造了一个几乎无所不能的女性拓荒者——亚历山德拉,她既有着男性的睿智果敢、开拓进取,又有着女性的善解人意、关怀体贴。然而,读者却鲜有机会走进她的内心世界,看到她成熟背后的挣扎与痛苦。本文试图通过弗洛伊德的心理分析理论解析小说中反复出现的梦的意象,揭示亚历山德拉的心路成长历程,展现出一个生命质地更加饱满的拓荒者形象。
The American writer Willa Cather depicts a almighty female pioneer Alexandra. She demonstrates wisdom, courage and adventurous spirit like men and also has the female＇s good nature of kindness and considera- tion. However, readers have rare opportunity to perceive her inner world to appreciate the struggle and affliction concealed by her maturity. This paper tries to analyze the repeated occurrence of dream image according to Freudian psychoanalytic theory to reveal Alexandra＇s psychology development, presenting a pioneer with more rich life character.
