摘要
为了探索文化距离对中国对外直接投资(OFDI)区位选择的影响,本文首先采用四种方法对文化距离进行全面测度,然后基于2003-2010年中国对40个东道国及地区OFDI的面板数据,利用PCSE模型进行实证检验。结果表明,文化距离对OFDI区位选择的影响不是简单的正负向关系,可能存在门槛效应。对此,进一步采用Hansen非线性门槛模型检验,不仅完整地刻画出二者之间的U形关系,而且给出了合理的解释与说明。
For the purpose of exploring the effect of cultural distance on Chi- nese OFDI location, this paper applies four methods to measure cultural distance. Then this paper employs the panel data of 40 recipient countries of Chinese OF- DI from 2003-2010 to have the PCSE test. The results show that the relation be- tween cultural distance and Chinese OFDI is not positive or negative linearly, but a threshold-effect may exist. In terms of this, this paper draws on the Han- sen non-linear threshold model to have a test. It indicates and rationally explains a ＂U-shaoe＂ feature relationshio between cultural distance and Chinese OFDI
