Development of High Current ECR Ion Source at CIAE

摘要 本文介绍了研制的一台强流ECR微波离子源,其能从7mm直径的圆孔引出大于150mA的氢离子束(75keV),质子比达90%。该离子源采用独特的结构提高了离子源寿命。离子源在75keV、110mA束流条件下连续工作超过220h,束流中断2次,不间断工作时间超过150h。 A high current ECR ion source was introduced.The total hydrogen beam more than 150 mA at 75 keV can be routinely extracted from a single 7 mm diameter aperture with the proton fraction up to 90%.A unique structure to improve the reliability was adopted.The ion source was operated continuously for more than 220 h at 75 keV and 110 mA extracted hydrogen current,while two beam trips were recorded in the period,and uninterrupted operation time was about 150 h.
