牙周炎与动脉粥样硬化性心血管病 被引量:2

摘要 上世纪90年代初,慢性感染在动脉粥样硬化性疾病如冠心病、心肌梗死、脑血栓形成等发病机理上的地位开始确立,而人体最容易形成慢件感染的疾病即为牙周炎。牙周炎是由菌斑诱发的局部的慢性非特异性炎症,以破坏牙周的结缔组织和骨组织为其特征。大量流行病学研究结果显示,牙周炎在心血管疾病患者中的发病率较高,与动脉粥样硬化性心血管病的发生、发展密切相关。
