摘要
介绍波分复用无源光网络 ( WDMPON)的结构相对传统的 PON结构的优越性 ,同时分析了两种最新 WDMPON结构中采用的两项技术 :光源共享和频谱分割的原理和技术细节 ,最后指出 WDMPON是宽带接入网的最佳选择 .文中关于 WDMPON优缺点的讨论 ,对电信运营者考虑接入网应采取何种结构 ,具有重要的参考价值 .
This paper introduces a new access networks concept: wavelength division multiplexing passive optical networks. We emphasize the superiority of its architecture and analyze two special technologies adopted by recent WDMPON architecture: optical source sharing and spectral slicing. In the end, we indicate that WDMPON is the best candidate for future broadband network. It will offer important reference for telecommunication carriers to consider the best choice for the future OAN.
