OBJECTIVE To study the prognosis value of united detection with brainstem auditory evoked potentials(BAEP), blink reflex (BR) and motor evoked potenfials(MEP) in comatose patients with stroke. METHODS 36 comatose patients with stroke were examinned by detection of BAEP, BR and MEP, and grading of glasgow coma scale (GCS), and its results of prognosis value were comparatively analyzed. RESULTS The results of prognosis value showed that 96.3% of sensitivity, 100.0% of specificity, and 97.2% of accuracy were higher in BAEP, BR united MEP group than in the GCS group (P〈 0.05). CONCLUSION The united detection with BAEP, BR and MEP can provide an objective indicator for evaluating the prognosis of comatose patients with stroke.
