摘要
本文比较了不同年龄不同性别的人体外周血白细胞在PHA诱导下DNA和蛋白质合成的能力及IL-2的产生水平。结果表明,在30岁至65岁年龄组之间,上述三项指标均平行下降,DNA合成下降50%,蛋白质合成下降43%,IL-2水平下降47%;同时发现该三项指标在两性间似无明显差异。说明在人体衰老过程中人外周血白细胞的IL-2产生明显下降,这可能与老龄人群免疫功能系统功能降低有关。
We reported that the expression of IL-2 gene in rat decreased distinctly with aging. In these further studies, DNA and protein synthesis and IL-2 production of WBC from human peripheral blood of different ages and different sexes were determined by PHA stimulation. The results demonstrated that DNA, protein synthesis, and IL-2 production declined simultaneously in the age group of sixty five years in contrast with the age group of thirty years. All three parameters decreased by 50%, 43% and 48% respectively in men and 59.8%, 48.1% and 56% inwomen, but no difference was found between old men and old women. The results demonstrated that the IL-2 production from human peripheral WBC declined drastically with aging. The lowered production of IL-2 contributed to the overall decline in T cell proliferation by mitogenic stimulation. Therefore, the deline of IL-2 production appears to be the cause of the age-related decline in immune function of old people.
