妈祖祭典习俗历史悠久、影响深远。湄洲妈祖祭典乐舞既融合了古代宫廷宗庙祭祀的艺术精髓,又自成一体,内容独特,散发浓烈的莆仙地域文化特色,具有研究和保护价值,尤其是在进一步促进闽台两地交流方面能够发挥很大的作用。
The ceremony of worshipping Matsu,which has a long history and far-reaching effect,is a convention.The music and dance to worship Matsu not only combines the art quintessence of ancient palace sacrifice-offering ceremonies,but also have unique content and a style of its own,which strongly sends out Puxian cultural charact eristics.Hence,music and dance to worship Matsu is worth researching and protecting,what＇s more,it plays significant role in promoting the communication between Fujian and Taiwan.
