摘要
加入WTO标志着中国经济发展和改革开放进入一个新的阶段 ,这对中国农业和农村经济发展是一个难得的机遇。同时 ,中国农产品及加工品市场将面临对外开放的压力 ,一些主要粮食作物产量可能有所减少 ,从而导致农村剩余劳动力的增加。应及早采取应对措施 ,调整农业和农村经济结构 ,提高农业的科技含量 ,稳定与提高农民收入 ,加快农业现代化进程。
China's economy development and reform will step into a new stage after entering WTO. It's a rare chance to develop China's agriculture and rural economy. Meanwhile, as the further opening of the market, the output of some staple crops will decrease under the pressure of agricultural products and processing products of the world, which will lead to the increase of surplus labor force in countryside. In order to speed up agricultural modernization, appropriate measures of regulating agricultural industrial structure, improving science and technology content of agriculture and stabilizing the farmer's income should be taken.
