摘要
北极熊具有在寒冷的北极地区生存下去的特殊能力.和其他的许多耐寒动物一样,北极熊的毛发对其身体的保暖起着极为重要的作用.本文分别采用光学显微镜、扫描电子显微镜、场发射扫描电子显微镜和透射电子显微镜研究了北极熊毛发的形态和结构.研究结果表明,北极熊毛纤维具有独特的膜-孔结构,该结构应该对北极熊毛的热传递过程有着关键的影响.
The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) has superior ability of surviving in the harsh Arc- tic regions. Like other cold-resistant animals,the hair of polar bears plays an important role in keeping warm. The morphology and structure of the polar bear hair were examined by means of the optical microscope(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), field emission scanning elec- tron microscopy (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) respectively. The membrane structure of the polar bear hair is described. That this unique membrane-pore struc- ture may be critical for the heat transfer process of polar bear hair.
