Golden Monkey Breeding Base to Be Established China is expected to set up the country's first artifi-cial breeding base for the endangered golden monkey within the year.The base will be in the Shennongjia Nature Reserve in central China's Hubei Province,which is home to about 1,200 of the monkeys,according to the research institute at the reserve's management author-ity.
