摘要
以"好客的食物"为题讨论"好客中国"在现代旅游中的作用与价值。认为"好客"作为人类社会一种重要的交流活动,自古以来就是社会伦理和社会秩序的组成部分,并形成了特殊的权力关系结构张力。然而,中西方在"好客"叙事中呈现了巨大的差异。在中国,"请客吃饭"是"好客"的一种基本而普遍的表达方式,这种方式与传统的农业伦理紧密地结合在一起。在现代旅游活动中,饮食依然成为"好客"的集中表达,却也产生了新的语义。
With "Food of Hospitality" as the theme, the author discusses in this paper the role and value of "Hospitable China" in modern tourism. As one of the most essential ways of communication in civilized society, "hospitality" is a part of social ethics and orders. It has led to a special tension m the structure of power relations. The narrative of "hospitality" in China, however, differs a lot from that in western countries. In China, inviting a vip to dinner is a basic and common approach of expressing hospitality, which is closely associated with tra- ditional Chinese agricultural ethics. In modern tourism activities, food is still the best way of expressing hospitality and has given rise to new semetic meanings.
