Kainic acid(0 3μg)was microinjected into bilateral anteriomediac caudate mueleas in rats respectively Ten days after operatation, animals behavior was tested For passive avoidance response, retention of short term and long term memory was markedly impaired in KA group In addition,we found that learning capacities in active avoidance response and spatial alternation task were also impaired, the rats kept normal health and motor ability
