摘要
纽约中央公园位于美国曼哈顿中心地带,占地面积3.4km2,是美国历史上第一个真正的大型城市公园。150多年的营建和管理历史证明,它已深入到纽约市民的生活中,是一块神圣不可侵犯的土地。纽约中央公园的营建理念和管理方法,对我国的城市公园发展有宝贵的借鉴意义。
Central Park, located at the center of Manhattan, New York city, occupying an area of 3.4 square kilometers, is considered to be the first real large-scale city park in the history of the United States. Over 150 years of development and management stands to prove that the park has made itself an integral part of New Yorkers＇ life, in addition to it being held as sacred and inviolable. The method- ologies and ideologies applied to the development and management of New＂ York Central Park could provide valuable information in facilitating the development of city parks in our country.
