树脂浓度对三维针刺CFRP复合材料显微结构的影响

摘要 以三维针刺碳毡作为预制体,采用树脂浸渍-热压固化工艺快速制备了碳纤维增强树脂基复合材料(Carbon fiber reinforced polymer,CFRP)。通过光学和扫描电子显微镜观察了材料的显微结构,使用阿基米德方法测定材料的密度和气孔率,并利用压汞仪分析了材料的孔隙分布。主要研究了树脂浓度对CFRP复合材料显微结构的影响,结果表明,当树脂浓度由1.0增大到1.8时,材料的开气孔率由9%降低为3%,密度由1.40 g/cm3增大到1.45 g/cm3。树脂浓度1.0所制得CFRP-1材料束间孔隙尺度较大,但其他区域均比较致密;而树脂浓度增大到1.8所制得的CFRP-2材料更为致密,但由于热压固化过程残余的热应力未能及时释放,CFRP-2材料包含纤维-基体界面脱粘和纤维束内部的贯穿裂纹。 Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites were prepared by resin impregna- tion and hot-pressing curing with 3D needle-punched carbon fiber as the preform. The microstructure characteristics of CFRP were studied by means of optical microscopy and scanning electron microsco- py. The Archimedes method was used to determine the density and open porosity of the material, and the pore size distribution was measured by mercury porosimeter. Results show that when the resin con- centration increases from 1.0 to 1.8, open porosity of CFRP composite decreases from 9% to 3%, the density increases from 1.40 g / cm3 to 1.45 g / cm3. Pore size between fiber bundles of CFRP-1 compos- ite (CFRP-1, resin concentration 1.0) is larger, but other regions are relatively dense. CFRP-2 composite (CFRP-2, resin concentration 1.8) is much more dense, The pores in CFRP-2 composite can be divided into the through cracks and the matrix-fiber interface debonding, which are both caused by thermal stress.
