摘要
在总结和分析我国学者几种代表性图书馆哲学观点的基础上,认为图书馆哲学是图书馆学和哲学内在结合而产生的一门新兴交叉学科,它的研究对象是图书馆和图书馆学提出的各种哲学问题。
The rise of library philosophy research originated from two reasons in China. Firstly, great changes have been taken place in social and academic backgrounds in China; Secondly, many problems have emerged in library science and librari-anship in China such as getting into hot water in library science research & library science education and lacking the disposition of humanism in theory and practice of library science. On the basis of analyzing some representative points of view on the implication of library philosophy, the authors propose that library philosophy is a cross - discipline research into the kinds of philosophical problems brought about from the library area.
