The domestic total output of the car industry in 1999 is 1.83 millions cars and trucks.It is estimated that the output in 2000 will exceed 2.00 millions.The production and sale of the domestic industry and the coatings applications in domestic and overseas car industry are introduced.The author predicts that the car industry will require 74,118 and 165 thousands tons of different kinds of coatings in 2000,2005 and 2010 respectively.
