本文依据ＩＣＯＭＯＳ大会通过的《关于乡土建筑遗产的宪章》所阐明的乡土建筑保护原则和指导方针，对目前国内村镇 建设中破坏乡土建筑的行为给予了深刻的批判，深入探讨了乡土建筑和古村落的保护与利用的相关问题。
With the principles and guidelines of conservation established in the Charter on the Built Vernacular Heritage passed at ICOMOS, the author critically reviews the current serious destruction on vernacular building around China, and explores the extending issues about vernacular building and historic village conservation, adaptation and reuse.
