This paper essentially intraduees and explains the adavances of research and application of pile foundation, including demension effects of bearing capacity of pile with large diameter; the pile embeded in rock; the vertical and horizontal bearing capacity of group pile foundation; design on the pile taft foundation, new pile\|ferming processes and equipments.
