ＨＰＰ事务所是德国当代重要的建筑设计企业。ＨＰＰ的建筑创作观念，方法体现着德国现代建筑的理性主义传统。一方面，它继承发扬了理性主义传统中追求简洁，注重功能，形式与结构统一的贾风格。另一万面，它修正补充了早期理性主义实践在建筑的城市属性方面的不足。此外，应当指出的是，在激烈的商业竞争压力下，ＨＰＰ把对建筑艺术的关注更多地放在了逻辑、功能、结构、构造而不是个人风格与形式创新方面：它的集体主义创作机制在为公司赢得业务与声誉的局时，也不可避免地引起了评论界的争议。
Being a distinguished firm in contemporary German design companies, HPP embodies the faith and methodology of earlier German rationalists in the Modern era, It might be true to say that HPP borrows heritages from the fradition of fationalism in Modern German architecture, On one hand. HPP pursues simplicity, funtionality and structural rationality that are true hallmarks of rationalism. On the otherhand, HPP has put much effort designing the intergrity of the city, which had been overlooked by its Modern predecessors. Facing fight competition in the business world, HPP's success rely mainly on collective intelligence of design teames, not inspiration of individuals, This approach has definitely take HPP to what it is now, but the somewhat lack of individuality has often been regarded as a fault by crifics,
