中国南海及其邻近地区地球物理研究的概况和新进展

摘要 本文从三个方面总结和评述了中国南海及其邻近地区的综合地球物理探测研究的现状和最新成果:南海及其邻近地区的地壳上地幔结构特征;地球物理场分布特征;南海的成因和演化过程探讨。笔者对目前在研究中存在的问题和今后的工作方向,提出了自己的看法与建议,认为应当开展海底人工地震测深,这可能是弄清南海成因和演化模式的有效途径,并强调中外地球物理学家们通力合作研究的重要性。 In this paper,the current status and newest achievements of comprehensive geophysical explorations and studies in the South China Sea and its surrounding areas are summed up and reviewed in the following three aspects:features of structure of the crust and upper mantle in the South China Sea and its vicinity;characteristics of distribution of geophysi- cal fields;and discussions on the origin and evolution process of the South China Sea.The author puts forward his own opinion and suggestions on the existing problems and future orientation of studies in this regard.It is recommended that man-made seismic sounding of the sea floor should be carried out,which may he an effective approach for clarifying the generation and evolution model of the Sea.The importance of cooperative researches by Chi- nese and foreign geophysists in this region is emphasized.
