摘要
江昂医著等身，但就其实用性、流传范围、对医学普及提高的贡献来说，他的成就主要表现在方剂学上。他的方书有着由博返约、便于临床；理法方药通贯全书；以法统方、提纲挚领的特点。因此他的《医方集解》可作为学习方剂学的入门阶梯及研究方剂学的良好读物。
Wang Ang wrote a lot of books on medicine. Although he made contribution in the aspects of practicability, circulated dimension, and the popularization and the advancing of medicine, his achievement is mainly focussed in the field of methodology of prescription. His book of prescription, Variorum of Medical Recipes, is simple, practical, reasoning, and concentrated on the main points. So, this book can be used as an introduction to prescription, as well as a good reading for prescription methodology.
