摘要
本文重点阐述第三代移动通信系统ＩＭＴ—２０００的提出和进展、有关研究、频率指配，３个主要ＲＴＴ技术ＷＣＤＭＡ、ｃｄｍａ２０００和ＴＤ—ＳＣＤＭＡ，以及网络演进进程与办法、几种关键技术，并就我国如何发展第三代移动通信，从运营业。科研制造业分别进行分析并提出建议。
This article expounds issues related to the third generation of mobile communication system-IMT-2000, such as its commencement and progress, the research, frequency assignment, three key technologies-WCDMA, cdma2000 and TD-SCDMA, and the process and ways of network evolution, and gives suggestions to China's development of the third generation of mobile communication system with respect to operation, research and manufacture.
