Effects of Short-term Therapy of Fluvastatin on TNF-α and IL-18 Levels and Heart Function in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

摘要目的:观察短期应用氟伐他汀对慢性心力衰竭(CHF)患者心功能、血清肿瘤坏死因子α(TNF-α)和白介素18(IL-18)水平的影响。方法:将56例CHF患者随机分为治疗组(29例)与对照组(27例)。对照组给予常规治疗,治疗组在对照组基础上加用氟伐他汀40mg。2组疗程均为28d。治疗前后分别测量TNF-α、IL-18、左心室射血分数(LVEF)。结果:2组患者治疗前后TNF-α、IL-18、LVEF比较,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),治疗组治疗后各项指标均优于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:短期应用氟伐他汀可以降低CHF患者的TNF-α和IL-18水平,改善心功能,其作用机制可能与抑制CHF患者的炎症反应有关。 OBJECTIVE： To investigate the effects of short-term therapy of fluvastatin on cardiac function and level of TNF-α and IL-18 in patients with chronic heart failure （CHF）. METHODS： 56 patients with CHF were randomly divided into treatment group （n=29） and control group （n=27）. Control group was given conventional treatment, and treatment group was additionally given fluvastatin 40 mg for 28 days. The levels of TNF-α, IL-18 and LVEF were determined before and after treatment. RESULTS： The levels of TNF-α and IL-18, LVEF had statistical significance in 2 groups before and after treatment （P〈0.05）. The indexes of treatment group were better than those of control group （P〈0.05）. CONCLUSION： Short-term therapy of fluvastatin used in short term can reduce the level of TNF-α and IL-18 further and enhance the LVEF. The mechanism maybe related with that statins can in- hibit the inflammatory reaction in CHF patients.
