RASSF1A和P16在食管鳞癌中的表达及临床病理意义

RASSF1A and p16 expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and the clinicopathological significance

摘要 目的:探讨食管鳞癌(esophageal squamous cell car-cinoma,ESCC)中RASSF1A和P16的表达及临床病理意义。方法:应用免疫组织化学法检测90例ESCC患者癌组织及癌旁正常组织中RASSF1A、P16的表达,分析其与食管鳞癌临床病理参数的关系。结果:食管鳞癌组织中RASSF1A蛋白表达显著低于相应癌旁正常黏膜组织(51.1%vs 93.3%,P<0.01);P16蛋白表达显著低于相应癌旁正常黏膜组织(41.1%vs 91.1%,P<0.01)。RASSF1A蛋白低表达与食管鳞癌的TNM分期、浸润深度、淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05),与大体类型无关(P>0.05)。P16蛋白低表达与食管鳞癌TNM分期、大体类型、浸润深度、淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05)。两者表达皆与食管鳞癌患者的年龄、性别无关(P>0.05)。结论:RASSF1A和P16可成为判断食管鳞癌恶性程度和预后的检测指标。 Objective:To investigate the expression of RASSF1A and P16 protein in the squamous cell carcinoma of esophagus(ESCC) and their clinicopathological significance.Methods:Immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the RASSF1A and P16 expression in the cancerous tissues and adjacent normal tissues from 90 ESCC patients,and the relationship was analyzed between the protein expression and the clinicopathological parameters of the neoplasm.Results:By reference to the matched normal tissues,both RASSF1A and P16 were highly expressed in the cancerous tissues(51.1% vs.93.3%;41.1% vs.91.1 %,respectively,P〈0.01).The lower expression of RASSF1A was correlated with TNM staging,depth of tumor invasion and lymph node metastasis of ESCC(P〈0.05),but had no association with the gross morphology(P〉0.05).Although the lower expression of P16 was also associated with TNM staging,gross morphological type,depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis of ESCC(P〈0.05),yet,both expressions of the two proteins suggested no correlation with the ages and sexes of patients(P〉0.05).Conclusion:RASSF1A and P16 may serve as biomarkers for predicting the progression and prognosis of ESCC.
