摘要
"全英成人继续教育协会"是英国最重要的成人及继续教育的全国性学术团体,也是世界上最大的成人学习非政府组织之一,在为成人继续教育提供合作、咨询、信息服务等方面开展了卓有成效的系列活动,其活动组织的特点表现在:为英国乃至世界公民服务、提倡人人教育的公平取向、强调社会与个人的共同发展三个方面。该协会在成人教育决策方面有着直接的影响力,对推动英国成人教育的发展壮大发挥了积极的作用,对于转型时期我国的成人教育也具有重要的借鉴意义。
The National Institute of Adult and Continuing Education （NIACE） is not only the most important academic institute on adult and continuing education of England, hut also the leading nongovernmental organization for adult learning in the world. It launches a successful series of activities on adult and continuing education by providing cooperation, advice, information service and so on. The features of these activities mainly displays in three aspects： working for the British and even the citizens of the world, advocating fair orientation that everyone is entitled to equal access to education and emphasizing the common development of individual and society. NIACE has a direct influence on policy - making of adult education, plays a positive role in promoting the development of the British adult education and it has reference significance for our adult education during transformation.
