摘要
柳诒徵是我国著名的史学家、图书馆事业家,毕生致力于教育和图书馆事业,主持江苏省立国学图书馆达20年之久。在担任国学图书馆馆长期间,他改弦更张,致力于藏书建设;注重图书馆对读者的服务,推出了具有开创性的服务措施;奖掖后进,通过创办《国学图书馆年刊》来培养人才,促进学术研究。在柳诒徵等人的努力下,江苏省立国学图书馆成为江南地区著名的图书馆,在海外也享有较高声望。探究其间的成功因素,在一定程度上也有助于我们当下的图书馆建设。
Liu Yizheng, a famous historian and library expert of China, had devoted all of his life to ed- ucation and librarianship and had managed Guo Xue Library of Jiangsu Province for about 20 years, during which time he made reforms such as developing collection, advocating user service, releasing creative serv- ice measures, encouraging and promoting rising talents and stimulating academic research through publish- ing journal titled The Yearly. With the efforts of Liu Yizheng and many others, Guo Xue Library became well-known in the southeast of Yangtse River and as well as on abroad. Exploring the factors of Guo Xue Library＇s success will contribute to current library development.
