摘要
本文利用 1 993年 1月至 1 999年 5月的 TOPEX/ Poseidon卫星测高数据计算了全球海平面变化。海平面模型误差和不恰当的加权方法都会影响全球海平面序列的周年变化 ,潮汐模型误差对于季节性变化有明显的影响。利用两个高度计计算的海平面变化存在明显的差异 ,利用 TOPEX高度计和 Poseidon高度计得到的该时段全球平均海平面的变化率分别为2 .0 mm/ a和 -0 .5 mm/ a。与南方涛动指数的比较显示全球海平面的年际变化可能主要来自于 ENSO事件的影响。
Variation of the global mean sea level was extracted with TOPEX/Poseidon altimeter data from January 1993 to May 1999. It is shown that both the improper weighting and error in mean sea level model induce errors in the annual variation of global mean sea level. The error of current ocean tide model affected global mean sea level in the periods of about 60 and 90 days. The significant difference was found between the global mean sea level from TOPEX altimeter and that from Poseidon altimeter, suggesting that TOPEX/Poseidon altimeters need further calibration. The rate of change of global mean sea level derived from TOPEX altimeter and Poseidon altimeter during this period is 2.0mm/yr and -0.5 mm/yr respectively. The correlation between global mean sea level variation and Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) shows that the ENSO event is an possible explaination for the intra-annual variation in global mean sea level.
