摘要
2012年太原市提出以"包容、尚德、崇法、诚信、卓越"为城市核心价值观,针对此次活动,作者从公共图书馆社会职能方面浅谈了如何充分利用图书馆的资源优势、环境优势、开放性优势、便捷检索优势、技术设备优势,为构建社会主义和谐社会,提升市民素质、弘扬城市精神和践行城市核心价值观活动发挥重要作用。
In 2012, Taiyuan city puts forward the city core values ： being magnanimous, advocating morality, upholding law, being credible, being excellent. Taking concerted action, the author discusses how to make thll use of library resources, environmental advantages, open advantages, convenient retrieval advantage, technology and equipment advantages and how to use the mentioned advantages to exert considerable influence on building a harmonious society, improving the quality of citizens, promoting the city spirit and practicing of city core values, which are all based on the social functions of the public libraries.
