摘要
作为东盟的重要成员国之一,泰国的经济在走出了金融危机的低迷后,正逐渐复苏并再度进入高速发展期,特别是其旅游业的蓬勃发展为泰国的经济带来了巨大的效益。旅游业快速发展的一个重要原因是泰国有着良好的跨文化交际所必需的语言环境。泰国政府对其重要的官方语言之一———英语所采取的教育政策和重视程度为其旅游业不断走向成熟做出了重要贡献。从这一角度看,探讨泰国外语教育政策将为我国外语教育政策的不断完善、全民跨文化交际意识的提高提供参考。
As one of the important member of ASEAN,the Thai economy has gone out of the downturn in the financial crisis and is gradually recovering and re-entering the period of rapid development.Its booming tourism has brought huge benefits to the Thai economy.An important reason for rapid tourism development is that Thailand has a necessary environment for good cross-cultural communication.The educational policy taken by Thai government for its official language –English has made important contributions to the development of tourism.From this perspective,foreign language education policy in Thailand provides a reference for the Foreign Language Education and constantly improves the awareness of universal cross-cultural communication to.
