摘要
图书馆作为构建和谐社会的文化阵地,是一种组织性极强的社会系统,并具有一定的整体性和稳定性。它一方面对人类文明和知识财富进行守望;另一方面根据环境的变化和发展进行信息的组织、管理、咨询和服务。调查发现,多数图书馆只开展传统的服务,但为经济提供深层次增值业务的信息服务较少。笔者就图书馆信息服务功能进行研究,阐述其概念、内涵和特征,通过构建图书馆信息服务机制,增强主动、竞争服务意识,加强信息资源的开发、消费与保护,提高信息服务水平和质量,促进教育生产力水平的提升,实现经济效益最优选择。
As the cultural center of building a harmonious society, the library is a social system which is organized strongly, and has a certain integrity and stability. On one hand, it pursues the human civilization and knowledge wealth; onthe other hand, according to the changes in the environment, it works on information organization, management, consultation and service. In accordance with a survey, most libraries only carry out the traditional service, but provide little deep value-added information service for economy. The paper studies the function of library information service, which ex- plains its concept, content and features. Through building the library information service system, enhancing the active and competitive service aware- hess, strengthening the development, consumption and protection of the information resources, improving the level and quality of the information serv- ice, the library can contribute to the development of education productivity, and realize the optimal economic benefits.
