Joint DOD-DOA Estimation for Bistatic MIMO Radar Based on Fourth Order Cumulants

摘要 提出了一种基于四阶累积量的双基地MIMO雷达收发角度估计算法。在接收端,通过分别构造单阵元和双阵元的四阶累积量矩阵,采用基于四阶累积量的MUSIC算法和ESPRIT算法分别估计出目标的离开方向(DOD)和波达方向(DOA),并且DOD和DOA自动配对。该算法将二维参数的估计问题转化为两个一维形式,不需要二维谱峰搜索,在保证二维方位角估计性能的基础上,降低了运算量。利用四阶累积量有效地扩展了阵列孔径,并且适用于任意加性高斯噪声环境。仿真结果验证了算法的有效性。 A new algorithm based on the fourth order cumulants(FOC) for joint Direction of Departure(DOD)-Direction of Arrival(DOA) estimation in bistatic MIMO radar is proposed.Firstly,the method constructs the fourth order cumulants matrix of one-sensor and two-sensor,respectively,and then estimates the DODs and DOAs of the targets separately by exploiting MUSIC algorithm and ESPRIT algorithm based on fourth order cumulants at the receive side.The estimated parameters can be paired automatically.The proposed method separates the two-dimensional parameter estimation problem into two one-dimensional forms,and does not need two-dimensional spectrum peak searching.Thus the computation burden is reduced with the maintenance of good performances for two-dimensional angle estimation.The method can implement virtual array extending effectively and be applied to arbitrary Gaussian noise environment by using fourth order cumulants.Finally,simulation results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
