摘要
经过不断的探索与实践,证明在中国云南省农村贫困地区采用参与性农村健康教育(Participatory Rural Health Educa-tion,PRHE)方法是可行的。它与传统的方法不同,强调的是当地人的参与,外来者只是协助、指导他们的活动,促使当地人分析与他们生活有关的知识和条件,采取相应行动,充分挖掘当地人的自身潜力,促进其自我发展。在开展健康教育工作的同时,也要注重政府的参与,以及农村社区的发展等问题。
80% of Chinese population are peasants,so the focus of health work should be put into villages. While the cost-benefit of health education is great,it is a key to 'health for all'.Yunnan is located in southwestern China with 25 ethnic minority nationalities.There are about 10 million people in 73 poverty counties in this province. With our practice, participatory rural health education (PRHE)is proved practicable in poor rural areas of Yunnan Province. It is different from other methods. The heart of PRHE is to build up the potential of local people, so that they can analyze and understand their own problems,realize their own potential,and be able to solve their own problems.Moreover,the government s participation and community development are also important.
