The Quaternary Resources of Guizhou and Their Significance of Research and Utilization

摘要 贵州第四纪资源丰富多采。发现38种矿,上千处产地;获取古人类化石遗物、哺乳动物及其化石越万件;探明各种用途洞穴超六百个;建成旅游地质区三十余处。它们的潜在经济价值大,学术价值高。本文根据前人资料和笔者实地所获,应用第四纪地质学、人类学、洞穴学和旅游地质学等有关理论,首次全面系统的论述了这些资源,特别是矿产资源的状况,以及对其研究利用的理论和实际意义。 Guizhou is rich in Quaternary resources. By the end of 1985, 38 kinds of ores had been found in more than 100 places, of which the main deposits are clay, peat, barite, lead and zinc, gold, germanium, indium, cadmium, etc. In addition, there are ore deposits of mercury, molybdenum, rock crystal, gypsum, powder quartz and coloured soil, etc. and some mineral occurrences and mineralized points of iceland spar, palygorskite, diamond, arsenic, germet, agate, sand for casting mould, bauxite, stibium,tungsten and tin, nickel and molybdenum and vanadium, cobalt graphite, manganese, gallium, rhenium and zirconium, etc. More than ten hundred palaeoanthropologic fossils have been found. Many palaeoanthropologic and palaeontological caves for tours, air shelters, storing, building, hydroelectric power have been discovered. The above resources have great potential economical value and academic value. On the basis of a great number of facts, this paper points out that to further research and utilize ore resources can not only turn resource superiority into economical superiority, but also expand achievements in ore prospecting according to the clues and, meanwhile, these achievements can also substantiate other subjects; to further study and utilize palaeoanthropologic fossils and remains resources has not only important significance of researching Quaternary, but also very great scientific importance of explor ing the palaeoan-thropologic evolution history; to further study and utilize mammal fossils and Quaternary caves can not only enrich the content of Quaternary geology and cavelogy, but also make them serve mankind.
