摘要
从句法语义功能、方言基础以及来源等三个方面论证中古汉语的指示词"许"与近代汉语的指示词"许"并不同源,只是同形语素。在考察了汉语方言中指示词"许"的三项差异之后,指出至少浙北吴语的指示词"许"并非汉语史的遗存,而是源于"指示词+处所词‘许’"这种处所指示词的省缩。"许"发展为处所指示词之后,在汉语史以及不少方言中又发展成了基本指示语素。
This article proposes that there are differences between the demonstrative Xu（许） in Medieval Chinese and Middle Chinese. Xu（许） in Medieval and Middle Chinese respectively are just homographs rather than cognates. After the discussion of Xu（许） ＇s differences in Chinese dialects from three aspects, it points out that at least the demonstrative Xu（许） in northern Zhengjiang Province＇s Wu dialect was not inherited form Medieval Chinese. Concerning the origin of the demonstrativ and locative Xu（许）, this articl suggests that Xu（许） is demonstrative. After having become a loca- tion demonstrative, Xu（许） then developed into a basic demonstrative morpheme.
