摘要 本文综述多值逻辑与计算机科学的紧密联系,通过对数字计算系统的多值逻辑设计与计算机科学、计算机工程的理论和应用中所涉及的多值逻辑与计算机同步发展的特点,以理性和实践的观点考察多值逻辑设计与应用的基础、历史和动力,阐明多值逻辑这一新兴研究领域的重要地位和作用,并简要介绍多值逻辑的理论与应用,特别强调了在五代机与光计算机研制中多值逻辑所扮演的角色的重要性。 This paper Introduces the reader to the area of mu ltiple-valued logic and how and why it has bebome related to computer science. First, we privide the new reader with interesting foundations, hirtory and motivation for considering multiple-vaiued logic design and applications from both intellectual and practical point of view. It covers in survey fashion on historical evalution of multiple-valued logic of digital computing systems. Next, we briefly acquaint the reader to algebra theory, which gives the applied mathematical foundations of much of multiple-valued logic as related to computer science. Finally, it is discussed with emphasis that the development of multiple-valued logic as interrelating with theoritical and applied work in areas of computer science and engineering such switching theory, programming and architecture, and recent developments in the area of optical multiple-valued logic are also riviewed.
