This paper introduces the technology of parametric design for standard parts in AutoCAD R14,It includes the modularization for drawing program in ADS and ARX, the interface design in AutoCAD and the implementation of parametric querying for the database of primitive parameters and methods with Visual C ++ ,it will supply a whole new method for second development in AutoCAD
