摘要
In September of 1971, a group of plant biologists assembled for two weeks in Eretria on the Greek island of Euboea (Evia) under the sponsorship of NATO and the University of Athens to participate in a NATO school devoted to studies of role of light signaling in plants. Embedded in the conference was a mini-symposium entitled 'Annual European Symposium on Photomorphogenesis'. The generous funding supported grad- uate-student and postdoctoral-fellow participation in the symposium.
