摘要
外语人才的培养应从知识、能力和素质三方面来衡量。外语应用能力应包括外语知识,交际能力和文化素质,这是我们外语工作者新时期培养人才的主要目标。本文就此从外语应用能力的界定,三要素的理论依据,在校大学生英语应用能力现状,及教学对策几方面进行了论述,最后得出结论:知识、能力和素质使我们外语人才培养的三要素,我们只有紧紧抓住这一点,才能培养出适应时代要求的新型外语人才。
An English talent should mainly be measured from three elements,a rich knowledge of the language,the ability to communicate freely and the quality for full understanding of the culture.Therefore,the English instructors should keep the three main points in mind and practice them in their teaching process.This thesis analyses this point from the following aspects: the theoretical foundation for this argument,the current condition of English proficiency among college students and finally,the writer provides some counter measures or some suggestions,hoping that this paper could make some contribution to the cause of English teaching.
