摘要
近年来,地方院校学生大学英语学习和应用能力提高不够显著。笔者通过调查访谈,发现其主要原因是学生的英语语音基础没有打好。学好英语语音,不仅对掌握英语词汇和语法有很好的促进作用,有利于增强学生的听说能力,而且能增强学生学习英语的信心。
In recent years, the results of English learning and the practical English abilities of the local college students are not improved very satisfactorily. Through investigation and interviews, the author found that the main problem was because the students did not learn English phonetics well. Learning En- glish phonetics well can not only promote their learning of English vocabulary and grammar, strengthen their listening and speaking abilities, but also enhance their confidence in learning English.
