The paper endeavours to view comprehensively Sylvia Plath's "Hospital Series" in terms of Tulips as her key works. In light of Foucauldian theory on discipline and power execution, the thesis unveils from a dual perspective of "female-patient", that Plath studies the totalitarianization of the hospital, hence the domination of patriarchy over female' s body, identity and discourse right. The series, in a creative and significant way, combine Plath's contemplation about sexual politics and modern medical system. As the result of the study, the work stress the importance of "Hospital Series" as the milestone of Plathean poetry.
