摘要
本文综述了当前用于探测及防治白蚁的一些新技术，这些新技术的开发更多的是建立于白蚁的生物学基础上。在探测白蚁方面，放射性同位素探测仪、微波遥感技术、电阻勘探、探地雷达、声频探测仪、气味探测仪乃至猎犬的应用，提高了探测白蚁的水平；在白蚁的防治方面，不但使传统的防治手段如毒饵诱杀技术赋予了新的内容，同时出现了许多新的防治技术，包括泡沫技术、药膜隔离技术、物理屏障技术、热处理和冷处理技术、电击法以及微波处理法等。
Some developing technologies in detecting and controlling termites are reviewed. Unlike the conventional treatments, the developing technologies aim to capitalize on termite biology to prevent, detect or suppress infestations. Radio isotope detector, Microwaves remote sensing, Radar, Acoustic - emission detector, Gas detector and Doghandler inspection teams have been used to detect termites. On the side of controlling termites, modern technology not only provide the conventional termiticide treatments such as baits with new content, but also caused new approaches including foam technology, physical barriers, heat fumigation, extreme cold, eclectrocution and microwaves treatments to control termites.
