Objective:Compare the sagittal malocclusion of the cranial base morphology and explore their regularity.Method:Select patients seeking treatment for average angle of Class Ⅰ,Class Ⅱ and Class Ⅲ malocclusion,a total of 56 patients, age range 10 to 15 years old.Class Ⅰ group:17 cases;Class Ⅱ group:20 cases,Class Ⅲ group:19 cases. The three indicators of occlusal type of measurement and analysis of the base of the skull, occlusion of the three types of measure analysis of variance single factor analysis of pairwise comparisons.Result:Posterior of the base of the skull length from class Ⅰ via class Ⅱ to class Ⅲ,in turn reduce and then there are significant differences;Intermediat cranial base angle from the class Ⅱ via classⅠto class Ⅲ in turn reduce and then there are significant differences;Anterior cranial base angle and BaS-FH angle from class Ⅰ via class Ⅱ to class Ⅲ in turn increases and then there are significant differences. The SN length of class Ⅱ malocclusion decreases, there is no significant statistical difference between the SN length of classⅠ and class Ⅲ malocclusion.Combined with different sagittal cranial base to the cranial base angle, sella angle, cranial base angle,SN-FH angle and SO-Ar distance were not statistically different. Conclusion:The skull structures of sagittal malocclusion presents a certain regularity,it can be said cranial involved in the growth of the bottom part of the formation of malocclusion.Post-cranial base and the poit of SE involved in the formation of sagittal malocclusion.
