摘要
“文化工业”理论是西方当代法兰克福学派提出的一种重要的文化理论。这一理论与大众文化密切相关 ,“文化工业”与大众文化构成了一个事物的两面 :相对于整个社会的文化体系 ,它表现为“文化工业”;而相对于大众的日常生活 ,它又表现为大众文化。在霍克海默和阿多尔诺看来 ,“文化工业”实质上是启蒙走向自我毁灭的现代悲剧。“文化工业”理论在当代西方文化理论中产生了深远的影响。后期法兰克福学派成员马尔库塞、甚至美国左翼著名学者杰姆逊 ,都对“文化工业”理论有所借鉴和阐发。
矯ultural Industry Theory is one of important cultural theories advanced by the Frankfurt School in contemperory times.Cultural Industry Theory is tightly connected with popular culture,with which it constructs two features:it can be regarded as cultural industry in terms of the cultural system of whole society,and can also be regarded as popular culture in terms of the people's daily life.But, in Horkheimer and Adorno's opinions,cultural industry,in essence,is nothing but a modern tragedy of the Enlightenment.Cultural Industry Theory has a great influence on modern cultural theories of the west.Murse,a later member of the Frankfurt School,and Jameson,a known member of the ‘Left Wing'in America,both have reinterpreted and developed Cultural Industry Theory.
