该文就沃斯商业街的景观特点展开分析,提出利用商业街的地域性特色和建筑空间的巧妙组合能激发人的购物欲望与建筑文明的联想。建筑保持原有的时代风格,并结合廊道和庭院空间能够形成舒适的购物环境。巧妙的广告形式和商品的个性橱窗造景能加深购物者对街道整体景观的视觉印象。植物花园和雕塑花园的进一步介入能形成理想化的室内外商业空间。沃斯商业街的设计理念对国内小城市街道的规划与商业环境景观的提升都具有启发和借鉴意义。
Analysis on the characteristics of landscape design of Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. The author proposes that taking advantage of local tropical features of design with artfully connected architecture can stimulate the customers’ senses. Retention of the original architecture from different time periods, with corridors and courtyards will produce a comfortable shopping environment. Subtle signage and window displays can improve the holistic landscape design on the street. Moreover integration of botanical and sculpture gardens will also help create an ideal commercial space. These design concepts could have a significant influence for street planning and commercial landscape design for the small cities in China.
