摘要
萧一山虽然与其他学者的交流颇多,但不少交流是在冲突和不太友好的气氛中进行的;其基本学术思想如倡导学术经世等等,与学界主要潮流背道而驰。这些使他成为一个"孤独"的边缘学者。虽然萧一山在清史著述、清史史料、传统文化等领域都取得了较大成绩,并基本符合才、学、识、德的"良史"标准,但其学术生命仅有20年,恰似一颗一瞥而逝的"彗星"。
Xiao Yishan had much association contact with other scholars,but the association was unfriendly.And his basic academic thoughts run in the opposite direction with the mainstream.Therefore,he was in fact a lonely marginal scholar.Though he made great achievement in the field such as works of Qing History,historical data,traditional culture,etc,his academic life lasted only twenty years,as if he were a comet that flashed by in the dark sky.
