摘要
医学高校图书馆是为教师、医学生和临床医务工作者提供医学文献情报信息中心。为适应医学科研技术的迅速发展,图书馆要转变以往读者求知为主动服务的模式,实现"为最需要的人在最需要的时间提供最需要的知识"的目标。使单一的纸质化图书馆发展为实体加虚拟的现代图书馆,让读者通过现代化服务手段,充分享受人类社会所积累的文化成果。
Libraries in medical colleges are the center to provide the medical literature,intelligence and information for the teachers,students,and clinical and medical workers.In order to adapt to the fast development of medical research and technology,libraries should transform the service pattern from readers' asking for knowledge to active service,thus realizing the aim of "providing the most needed knowledge for the most needing people at the most needed time".The paper libraries can be developed to virtual modern libraries plus paper ones so that the readers,through modern service means,can fully enjoy the human accumulated fruits of culture.
