摘要
抑郁症是一种复杂的心境障碍性疾病,诊断主要是根据其症状,复杂、不同的生物学机制可能是其病因学基础。动物模型对实验神经科学的最新研究进展具有重要作用,其中包括人类情绪障碍(例如抑郁症和焦虑症)的模型。在过去的几十年,许多应激和神经生物化学模型作为研究抑郁症的有效手段发展起来,为发现新的治疗靶点奠定了基础。本文综述了目前认为有效的动物抑郁模型,是抗抑郁药作用的神经生物学机制研究和新药研发的有力工具。
Depression is a complex mood disorder and its diagnosis is mainly based on symptomatic criteria,and the heterogeneity of the disease suggests that multiple and different biological mechanism may underlie its etiology.Animal models have been proved importance to recent advances in experimental neuroscience,including modeling of human mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.Over the past few decades,a number of stress and neurobiochemical models have been developed as primary efficacy measures in depression trials,which have paved the way for the discovery of novel therapeutic targets.In this paper several currently available animal models were presented as powerful tools for both mechanistic studies on the neurobiology of the antidepressant response and for drug discovery.
