摘要
专业化的地理信息系统是地理信息系统的一个非常重要的分支 ,具有极为广阔的应用前景。在阐明地理信息系统基本特点和功能的基础上 ,论述了利用GIS技术进行岩溶塌陷定量预测的可行性和优越性 ,并结合桂林西城区岩溶塌陷预测的实例 ,提出了通过发展接口程序技术将岩溶塌陷预测模型与GIS技术有机结合以快速、准确地完成预测工作的思想 ,为科学预测重大的自然地质灾害提供了一条新的途径。
Specialized GIS is a very important branch of GIS and is of a promising application. Based on specifying general characteristics and functions of GIS, this paper discusses the advantage and feasibility of predic ting karst collapse quantitatively depending on GIS, then a practical method is brought forward. This paper provides a new way to solve scientifically the question of quantitative prediction of geological disaster.
